Tour of the Rich and Famous Lifestyles
In searching for a place near Pacific City to stay a while, we came upon a Thousand Trails park. Upon stopping in, we were told it was a "Members Only" park and told to turn around and leave. . . . So we did. . . But then looked them up online. .. NO INFORMATION. Kinda worriedly, Miranda Called them, NO INFORMATION, Said to find out more we'd have to stay the weekend for free.. . . . Ummm Ok... . So we took it. Deal was had to meet with a sales person the next morning. . (Which we just got done with.) Any way, we just returned from that. . . :) $9000 Up front for lifetime membership, and then $700/yr to keep the membership.. But then you get to stay for "free" :)

HOLY CROW :)

The campground is REALLY NICE though. .. Tree's between campsite, real nice forested area, Pools, Hot tub, store, Hookups, etc. etc. etc. tons of stuff. .. But $9000!! Sheeesh. . . So, I don't think so :)

We enjoy Staying at a "Real" campground maybe once per week. . . That is ~$25/week + maybe $25 on average for other parking, etc fees.. $50/week*52 weeks = $2600 / Yr for our camping lifestyle. . . So, if we were going to continue like this for 10 Years, POSSIBLY. . .. But. . I think we'll move on to other adventures in life :)

plus they are all really snobby... no need to support that.

Heading Out Again
Well, we're leaving Rockaway Beach tomorrow. We went surfing today and had a lot of fun. Then went out for pizza afterwards, so we have pizza leftovers for tomorrow. :) Mostly we've just been working. Nothing too exciting.

Boring....
Yep, we basically worked all day again. We did go surfing for about an hour then went out to eat at the Mexican restaurant across the highway. We both tried something different and it was very good. Then we chatted with the woman that's letting us park in her 'driveway' for a bit. A very nice older woman. :)

Mmmm... Candy Store
So we're boring and basically worked all day... We did make some headway with the game though. We've mostly just been keeping caught up but haven't been able to add anything, so we're trying to get a lot of content done this weekend. This town is pretty small, but there were two candy/ice cream stores right next to each other. So we biked a couple miles down the street and bought a bag of salt water taffy at one and some fudge at the other. It had better last us a long time.... :) Yummy yummy.

Rockaway Beach
Well, the possible place in Manzanita basically fell through. The guy's wife is a lawyer and was all worried about renter's insurance or something. Their neighbor has a little area we could have parked in, but he hadn't called the guy back yet and he would be in town on Saturday. So, we went surfing for about an hour. The water was really cold... Colder than it was in Washington where we went surfing. Basically just feet and hands were cold, but that was enough.
We went to the next coastal town, Rockaway Beach. This place seems to be a lot of beach, vacation, rental properties. At least the ones closer to the ocean. We haven't even seen the actual town yet. We found a place to park and then walked around. We found a little house a couple blocks from beach access and it was obviously an older lady's place. There is a nice area next to her car port and a shed that we fit into with ample room. So, she's letting us park here over the weekend and we offered $15 a night, but she wouldn't take it yet. Apparently she's waiting to see if she wants to put us to work. :)
Oh, and there's a super good mexican restaurant across the highway. Yummy yummy.
