      • Keeping Busy
        06/25/09
Since we got home we have been not only working on the game, but working on getting the Toyota RV ready to go out on a trip. We had a lot of fun on our short adventure that we decided to go out this winter and head south, like some retired folks do. :) The old RV is set up so nicely for us that we

Well, we made it home. I spent most of the day unpacking the RV. The RV is mostly done and a lot of stuff is put away. Mary took care of the house while we were gone and we came back to not only a clean and organized house, but the yard is very pretty now. She even put in pretty flowers out front

      • Almost There
        06/12/09
We left the oil field and kept working our way home. We stopped at a person's house along the way. She's one of the players and quest writers for the game. She fed us some great pizza. After that, we kept going and made it all the way to Baxter and stayed in a Gander Mountain parking l

      • Heading Home
        06/10/09
We ended up staying in the parking lot of the bar Sara works at since there was a large dirt area of the lot. This afternoon, we went out to lunch with Sara and her roommate. We then headed out of town and have basically been driving ever since. We are now sitting just south of Theodore Roosevelt

On Monday, it was pretty icky looking out, but we left our comfy spot anyway and drove to Signal Mountain where we planned on hiking. It wasn't raining, so that helped. The hike was about 6 miles round trip, with the middle being the summit of the mountain. People could drive up there, so th

      • Grand Teton Camping
        06/07/09
We got to Grand Teton National Park with a forecast of isolated thunderstorms and showers for the next 2 weeks. It was pretty busy since it was Sat. so we decided to head to the nearby National Forest and find someplace to stay. We found a great place, not too far up the nearby mountain, but we ha

      • Leaving Salt Lake City
        06/06/09
We dropped off Jenny on Thursday and stayed overnight. Jenny's mom, Pam, fed us a very nice breakfast and even bought us some donuts and other things. We headed out and stayed in a National Forest near Bear Lake. It thunderstormed and hailed right before we found our place, so the road was p

We decided not to go all the way to Dinosaur National Monument. We stopped at a small spot off the side of Hwy 40 right before Steamboat Springs. The view was amazing. There was a fire pit there also, so we had a fire for s'mores. Sadly, the only marshmallows we had were minis... It defini

Wind Cave was very neat. Once we were done with the tour, we drove straight through Wyoming, stayed at a rest stop off I-25 and then got to Fa's on Sat. morning. We stayed there until Monday morning, working and hanging out. On Monday, we left and headed through Rocky Mountain National Park.
