Into Canada We Go
Spent 3 hours in Canadian Customs!!!
After 4 agents searched our Entire Camper for half an hour, They head agent told us to turn around!!!
I Tried to find ways around, and "lightly" argued (didnt want a cavity search) and gave a fat lip for 20 minutes.
She eventually changed her mind... They were worried since we had winter clothes, etc..
and all of our gear, she said she believed we weren't going to LEAVE!!!
After about 3 hours, we sped off with our "permit", which says we have to be out by the end of august.
FOund a great spot right off hwy 71. went searcing for a lake to swim in,
ended up biking 15 or so miles until we found a great little spot down an
abandoned road. little chairs and a private little lake.

Heading Out For Good
We are actually leaving for our trip! We plan to head up to International Falls and cross the border into Canada, then take the TransContinental Highway through Canada to Kalispell, MT. It's doubtfall we'll get internet often during our trip so the diary will not get updated everyday, but we'll update whenever we can. :)

Home!
We decided to head home. We discovered most of what gear we were missing,
and how everything works. Now we'll take a few days back at home to finish getting setup for our big trip. On the way home in Bessemer we climbed the City Bluff in Bluff View Park. Nice view, but we ascended on a hairy side.. should have almost had equipment!! All-in-all it was a good trip. Turned out we got about 8mpg (mostly because I drove an average of 40mph and used neutral for all the big downhills :) (NOTE TO SELF: DO NOT SHUTOFF AN RV THINKING YOU'LL SAVE EVEN MORE GAS, The Power Brakes and steering is awefully important when it's that big...)

P.S. We added the pictures back to the previous days. We never had enough internet time to get them up earlier.

A chipmunk we saw on the way up the bluff.

A view of our RV from the top.
