First Full Day in Dino Park
This morning I woke up at 6am and went bird watching down one of the trails that goes by the river. There were a lot of different birds and some really neat trees. The hike is supposed to take less than an hour and I was gone for two. :) Afterwards we went to the visitor center to see about tours.
Most of the park is a natural perserve and you can't go into it without a guided tour. So, we went on the Badlands Bus Tour. It was a lot of fun and we got to see and learn some really neat things. That was over at noon so we basically stayed in until evening because it is very toasty here.

Sunrise in the badlands.

Bird silhouette.

Mule Deer.

A 200 year old cotton wood tree.

A Yellow Warbler, Cedar Waxwing, and Grey Catbird that I saw on my walk.

Phred the camel (a hoodoo) with a pyramid behind him. :)

Dinosaur Provincial Park
We stopped at an awesome City Water park in medicine hat. It was only $6 admission!
Hot showers, rope swing, water slide, etc.. good fun. Afterwords we ventured off to the Dinosoar Park.
Jaw dropping terrain.. You drive through endless farmland, and then suddenly hit this!
we did a little hiking and saw some neat displays of dinosaur bones, still in the ground. We also saw an old quarry site.

Medicine Hat
Arrived in Medicine Hat, Went for a bike ride along the city's trails, Good size bluffs all over the place, desert ontop, green grass below. I took a "short cut" to get to Miranda and noticed that i had just run over cactus!!!!
OMG dummy. (they have cactus in Canada!!??) Anyways, 5 miles into the ride.. Pffffttttt... Flat tire!! .. so we walk about a mile and find a bike shop that's open!! get it fixed right up, and off again! 5 miles farther, all the way to the other side of town... Pfffffffttttt..... !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.... Must have missed a tiny cacti present. Luckily i asked a city bus driver and he took pity on us and let us bring the bikes into the bus (no racks) dropped us off within a mile of the same bike shop.... Yeehaw.. . Then as we were leaving, My shifter Cable... SSSNNNNAAAAPpPPPpppp!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!... couldn't believe it, went right back and turned out a bolt just had to be tightened.... hopefully we make it back to the RV, as we're still about 3 miles from it... Found internet on a small curb island. Think it's enough biking for today.

Off to Dinosaur Park tomorrow!!

Swift Current
Fixed our Black smoke/Sticky Choke problem with a tristytie wire....
RV starts up Great now.. Not sure if I'm opening it too far now?? Or if it can even be open too far.. Oh well.. seems good. Stopped at Swift current's Walmart for the night. It's hard to drive the RV more than
several hours per day... Swift current is a small city, maybe 20k? But they have a nice trail system that links several different city parks together. One playground was awesome! A built in Mini Waterpark!!! Oh man..
to be a kid again! You press a button and water spurts out of a bunch of different places. TOnight we found our first job!!! The Safeway store charges 25cent deposits on it's cart... (if you've seen Terminal you get the picture!) Miranda thought it was corney, but we each found 2 carts to return in the parking lot, so we got 50 cents each!!! our first canadian currency!!!
