had a nice dinner in the parking lot (conveniant!) and then Slowly drove down by the spooky-dark
yet traversable forest floor. Very nice roads so far, small, but good condition.
Stopped for gas, 20cents more expensive in Michigan!! (SAM!!!) ouch. should
have filled up in Wisconsin... We tried a new technique for finding a "hobo-spot", one of us rides her bike down small roads quick while i sit on the shoulder. Saves gas, and prevents the beast from getting stuck.

We spent the morning in Bayfield. Rode our bikes around a bit,
Thought about scuba diving here, they have some cool wrecks,
but all the coordinates are in LORAN!!?!? something ancient and not
equivalent to lat/longitude, so we had no idea where the wrecks were..
TIme to move on though...

We left! We finished loading up the RV. Jerry helped us finish up a couple of last-minute fixes. I slipped on my nice green socks from Miranda's Grandmother and we left the house at around 11pm! We decided on heading towards the Upper Peninsula, so we parked at the Meyers Beach parking lot. Slept pretty good!

We spent all day yesterday, and probably all day again today packing up the RV and last minute fixes. Hoping to leave for a short test-trip tonight!? I'm still on "emergency" call for another week, so i can't wonder off too far. But I am done with my daily work duties. It is a lot of work packing this thing! 16 hours yesterday, and it barely looks started!!!

After several toturous days of server reloads and other problems,
Spent the day cleaning out Rangenet's Shop today. Helped John get his stuff in the morning, and then Jim and his crew grabbed everything else. Most of it junk, but oh well... Finally got a chance to bring Jims Kids out to Sparta Pit they did some great 12 foot cliff jumps+ rock wall climbing!
Slept in the RV in their Driveway... Went o.k. didn't sleep great, but might be able to once we get used to it...
