The House
I thought I would take some pictures of the house and where the RV is. Notice the storm clouds.... yeah,, we've been very rainy here the last couple days. We haven't even had the logging trucks come up to the new site yet because the road is very slick and muddy from all the rain.

The house (yes, the mailbox is a cow, unfortunately it lost its head).

The RV is parked behind the house by Pat and Nancy's fancier RV.

Joe getting wood out of the lower wood shop for the house.

Pitch
Today Joe and I went for a short bike ride. Afterwards Pat and Nancy taught us how to play Pitch. It was a fun card game once we figured out what we were doing. It's a team game. I was on Nancy's team. We won two of the three games. :)

The Cows
The Hanley's have two cows. It was really nice out on Saturday so I went out with my camera to find them and get some pictures. Once they saw me out there they came right up to me then started following me when I was leaving. Before I started the logging I fed the cows in the evening for Pat. They really like their apples so they were hoping I would give them some (they each got two :) ).

The red cow coming through the trees to check me out.

The black cow.

They tried not to look like they were obviously following me at first.

Wild Horse Island
Today we went on a boat ride in Flathead Lake with Pat and his wife Nancy. We stopped at Wild Horse Island. It is a state park and there are actually wild horses on it, though we didn't see any. We did see Mule Deer and Big Horn Sheep though. We hiked to, probably, the highest point on the island. Joe did this all barefoot becuase he didn't bring his shoes on the boat...
On the way back to the dock Nancy and Pat did a little fishing. Nancy caught a good sized fish, but let it go. Then Joe went water-skiing all the way back to the dock.

Osprey we saw near the boat launch.

In Kalispell
We are in Kalispell now, and will likely be here for a while.. (until the weather forces us out!) Don't know if we'll have internet or not. So the updates may slow down.
